About Us - Craftyaddicts is the online shop for our business Crafty Addicts.
- We are a small cardmaking shop in Chorley in Lancashire run by myself, Heather Birkin.
- If you have any suggestions or comments or if you need to contact us, please email us using the link on the store page or use the details below.
- If there is a product you are looking for but it isn't on our website, please ring our shop or email us and we may have it in our high street shop, or we may be able to order it in for you. We do have many more items in our high street shop than we have online.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments only over the phone 01257 273404

If you wish to pay by CHEQUE please make out to CRAFTY ADDICTS, if you pay by cheque your order will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.

We accept payments by PAYPAL, this is our preferred method of payment

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling Our postage cost is £2.50 for all UK mainlaind orders. There may be occasional exceptions when an item is particularly expensive to post out to you,in these cases we will email you first.

Orders from outside the UK may incur extra postage costs..We will email you if this is the case to let you know the cost before we ship your order to see if it is acceptable. If you pay by PAYPAL , we will send a request through paypal for the extra postage costs which must be paid before the order will be posted out to you.

We currently use Royal Mail 2nd class post to keep our postage costs down although we do send out many orders by 1st class, and Parcelforce.

Delivery Schedule We will normally try to despatch your order to you within 48 hours, subject to funds clearing, but please allow10 working days before contacting us.

International orders are generally dispatched in under 5 days.

You must inform us within two working days of receipt of the goods if the goods are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

Back Orders - Occassionaly items may be out of stock even though they say they are in stock,
- If an item you order is out of stock your payemt wll be adjusted accordingly.
- We do not automatically back order items unless personally requested by the customer.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security - We are not currently accepting Credit Card Payments on our website,
- You can phone our high street shop Handmade Heaven between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday and pay with your credit or debit card over the phone.
- You can also place your order and request for us to ring you for payment,
please state this in the General Information(what was your reason for buying) section when you place your order or email us to let us know.

Guarantee We hope that you will always be happy with your purchase.
If your item is faulty or arrives damaged, we offer a full refund or replacement (please inform us within 2 days of receipt of item)
If your item is not faulty or damaged, and you have just changed your mind, the item can only be returned if it is unopened in its original packaging. The post and packaging will be at the customers own cost.(please inform us within 2 days of recipt of item)

Privacy Policy [CRAFTYADDICTS do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

a. Take and fulfil customer orders.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, not including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Before ordering large amounts of card and are unsure if it is correct for you please contact us first and ask for a small sample to be sent to you free of charge. This is to save unecessary expensive returns.

If you return goods because you have changed your mind they must be unopened in a saleable condition. Postage charges will be at the customers own cost.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
